When the fuck did Jack McCoy become District Attorney? I can't overemphasize how much it weirded me out to see him sitting in the chair once occupied by Adam Schiff, Nora Lewin and, to a much lesser extent, Arthur Branch. And the fact that I learned this by watching SVU really hammered home how much I've given up on Law & Order, having stopped watching, as I swore I would, when Jerry Orbach left, though I've since given into TiVo'ing the Dennis Farina eps, but only if Elizabeth Rohm/Serena Southerlyn is still the ADA. Wow, what a pointless post that was.
