I know I said I wasn't going to post today, but blame this one on the frequently wonderful ew.com. Today they have a video of the top 5 greatest death scenes, and while I wasn't impressed by most of them, it did point me to this little gem from Robocop that really should be at number 1.

I mean, wow - it would've been fabulous if it only involved the toxic waste, but the spectacular denouement elevates it to truly fucking awesome. Anyway, the rest of the death scenes are, as I mentioned, rather unspectacular (or too cliche to be exciting), except maybe Alan Rickman's from Die Hard, if only because it involves Carl Winslow (who, as I delightfully discovered, has his own, somewhat extensive wikipedia entry).

In other news, am I the only one who really wants to see Enchanted? 88% on the tomatometer - who's coming with me?
