And the unplanned posting continues! Yesterday I was linked to a blog via The Onion AV Club but, due to a period of unanticipated busyness - aka I hadn't read Kotaku since sometime last week - I wasn't able to get around to reading it until today. And let me say I'm glad I did. Brand New is a blog that takes on the seemingly highly-specialized world of logos, and what may seem like a horribly boring and dry subject turns out to a be an enlightening, endlessly interesting examination and discussion of brand identity and the effects of good and bad design (we gays do love design!). And it's doing a passable job of distracting me from the fact that my coworker's child is in the cubicle next to me playing with some sort of very loud educational toy even though this is an office and NOT A FUCKING DAYCARE. Shit.
