hey, at least they're trying!

In the age the iPod it's a little hard for Sony and its once ubiquitous Walkman line to make anything but a slight ripple. Mad props though to the company for tapping Saatchi & Saatchi Aus to design their new ad campaign.

Using (black!) earbuds to map out the subway systems of various major metropolises (New York is above, they also did London and Sydney) and replacing stop names with those of bands, it's an incredibly successful design for a not-so-successful product line.
