According to blogger Josh Spear, UNIQLO, aka best store EVA!, will start populating their stores with robots called Wakamura. The robot, designed by Toshiyuka Kita and engineered by Mistubishi, will apparently be capable of simple conversation and, of course, picking out (presumably awesome fucking) t-shirts. But perhaps the most exciting part is that, despite how utterly Japanese this - and UNIQLO - is, the Tokyo-based company is debuting the robot at the flagship Manhattan store in SoHo. Where I will be next month. Shit yeah!
