Just got the news an hour or so ago via a phone call from Alternative Ticket: tonight's The Field show, which I've been looking forward to for-fucking-ever, has been canceled. Pitchfork has the full story, and unsurprisingly, it's visa issues again, which have since been worked out but that doesn't help DC (and Cleveland and Chicago) folks anticipating some hot Swedish microhouse action. He's apparently promised to return later in the year, but where does that leave me this Wednesday night? Oh yeah, on the receiving end of several cocktails. Could be worse I guess.
