Ostensibly in honor of the album's 10th anniversary, Pitchfork has today a post up with a bunch of indie rockers etc. musing on how amazing Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea is. Which I admit sounds kind of miserable, but it's saved from being so because, well, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea is ungodly in its sheer awesomeness. So it's definitely worth checking out - well, worth checking out if you're familiar with the album, and if you're not, get thee to a record store (or itunes or P2P or whatever), 'cause you're missing out on one helluva spectacular album that, were it not for a little gem called OK Computer, could easily be called the best album of the '90s, instead of the best album about Anne Frank of the '90s.
