seriously???

So as you'll note from yesterday evening's blog post, I purchased my new shoes from zappos at approximately 7PM. Given that this was after business hours I had every expectation - also noted in the post - that they would arrive on Thursday, just in time for the unofficial start of the weekend. Well just out of curiosity, I plugged in my UPS tracking number a few minutes ago and, lo and behold, they're already on the truck for delivery today! I mean, I really can't say how much I fucking adore this company - how is it that some places will charge me upwards of $20 for two-day shipping (I'm looking at you site where I almost originally bought the shoes from) when these guys can do such an incredible job for nothing at all??? Perhaps it's the whole being located right by the UPS air hub in Louisville, but they could still charge something for that shit.
