Yesterday I watched Stephen Frears' 1985 film My Beautiful Laundrette, which is not only a damn fine movie, but also introduced me to the beauty that is a young streetpunk Daniel Day-Lewis.
And not only that, but a young streetpunk Daniel Day-Lewis carrying on an illicit relationship with his pretty-hot-as-well Pakistani childhood friend.
I'm seriously in love. And of course, there's some delicious youtube footage as well.
Christ I'm a homo.
*I kind of hate the killers, but there's a remix of the song that's pretty amazing, but unfortunately "when you were young (jacque lu cont's thin white duke mix)" doesn't exactly roll off the tongue - oh well
