This Thursday: The Blow at the Black Cat. Already blogged about this a bit ago, but judging from "their" album it should be a good show and one that probably won't sell out, so I felt a reminder was in order. Doors 9PM, $12.

This Sunday: Taint at DC9. Cute boys, hot electro/indie rock, what more could one ask for? And if the Labor Day gig was any indication, it should be a riotously sweaty good time. Just don't get there too late, lest you get trapped in line behind some horribly unattractive hateful fag that enjoys yelling at your friend and calling her names synonymous with a certain part of the female anatomy. Doors 9PM, $5 (probably free if you're w/ me).

Too Far Away: M.I.A. at 930 Club. Just announced, so get on this because the tickets are sure to go fast. I'll refrain from worshiping her more than I already have on this blog, other than to say it's gonna be an awesome fucking show. Nov 29th, 10PM, $25.
