I have snuck away from the awfulness of packing files - it's even worse than I imagined! - long enough to stuff my face with pasta and read boingboing. Also, after much contemplation, I have overcome my loathing of flash memory and really, really want an ipod touch. However, it's either that or Paris, and since I currently am in possession properly functioning ipod, Paris it shall be. Plus this way I can be all snooty and make disparaging comments about "early adopters" (cite: $200 price drop on iphone like 2 months after it came out - suckers).

I'll still probably be crying inside though.
