Much like this article states, I have a serious problem with drunken texting. Usually to boys I like. And/or exes. And, of course, I usually end up with mud, not cock, on my face. For the time being there's nothing much I can do about it, save deleting numbers, turning off my phone, or not drinking (ha!), but Google is making advances in the field of regrettable intoxicated correspondence with the introduction of Mail Goggles. After a simple opt in via the "Labs" tab in the settings menu, any attempts at late night emailing (it defaults on the weekend, 10PM-6AM, though I of course changed mine to everyday) will be greeted with this:



Difficulty can be adjusted - this looks to be level 1, I set mine to 5, the highest. And yes, while it's not SMS goggles like pretty much everyone I know wants, it's a step in the right direction. And a fucking brilliant one at that. +10000000000 internets!
