One would think I would be at least somewhat excited about a film version of one of my favorite miniseries, Brideshead Revisited, especially considering it's being adapted by Andrew Davies (House of Cards, Pride and Prejudice '95, Bleak House '05, The Line of Beauty) and includes Emma Thompson and Michael Gambon. But then I saw this:
The only word I can think of is "flat". And furthermore, the film apparently focuses on the relationship of Charles and Julia. And is 100 minutes long. No thank you.
