MAJOR SPOILERS - IF YOU HAVEN'T YET BUT INTEND TO WATCH THE WIRE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Forgive me for being so behind here, but I only started watching The Wire recently, both because I don't have HBO and because my netflix queue is fucking ridiculous. Anyway, last night I watched the second to last episode of Season 3 and I'm still in shock over Stringer getting gunned down by Omar and Bowtie after getting sold out by Avon. And all this right after they finally managed to get a wire on his burner. Bummer. Also, is it weird that I'm attracted to Councilman Carcetti?

I blame the gratuitous ass shot from earlier in the season when he was pounding that bitch on the bathroom sink. Kind of a smarmy bastard, sure, but 'tevs, I'd totally hit it - he can chair my Council Subcommittee on Public Safety anytime.
