falling off the log

So I've been thinking - to recap [Project Runway], or not to recap. I mean, I love the show, and I love talking about it, but this early in the competition it's a big undertaking and takes a serious amount of time. Also, there are so many people who do it much better, especially considering that Tim's blog has returned to the Bravo site(!!!). Two things though: one, Chris's outfit was cute, but I feel like he's continuing to work with the same silhouette and I think Kevin should have taken this challenge; and two, I'm really glad that Victorya sent that piece of shit down the runway, 'cause I'm seriously sick of her bullshit. Also, going back to Tim's blog, he called Steven's monstrosity of a dress a "hot mess" - dear god I love that man. Anyway, Steven's gone, Chris is back (hooray!), and Jack looked like one of those pig people from that episode of the Twilight Zone (a commenter on the AV Club proposed an alternate description: Helena Bonham Carter in Planet of the Apes - good call!). And I guess I should add that I thought this episode was great, particularly the challenge, being as it was a delightful mash-up of the Clothes Off Your Back challenge from season 2 and the mom challenge from season 3. Bloody good show!
